A last-minute reminder that our Spring Concert will be taking place tomorrow evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. Parents and guests are invited to begin the evening with a reception in the library, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and students will gather in their classrooms. Please note, there is limited parking on site. Please Park on Arjay Crescent, to the south of the school. We look forward to seeing you there!
If your child is remaining at school between the end of the day and the concert, please contact Nick Johnson, njohnson@junioracademy.com to arrange a pizza order.
National Denim Day
Tuesday, May 14th in National Denim Day. Students and staff are encouraged to support the Cure Foundation by bringing in a minimum donation of $5.00 to dress down in denim. http://www.curefoundation.com/national-denim-day/participate/.
Grandparent / Special Friend Day
May 16th is Grandparents and Special Friends day at Junior Academy. All students are invited to ask a Grandparent or a Special Friend (adult) to come to school. The event will run from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. If your child’s grandparent or special friend is able to attend, please RSVP to Nick Johnson, njohnson@junioracademy.com . Junior Academy Year-End Camp
Junior Academy will be offering our Year-End Camp from June 17th to 26th! Registration information is attached and is being sent home today and there will be an Early Bird discount of $25 for sign ups before May 16th. All registrations are due by June 1st in order to book the various venues. Cancellations after June 1st will be 50% refundable.
Mindful Moments – Parent Info Session: May 28th
Our last Parent Information Evening of the year will take place on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. Occupational Therapist, Kristine Locklin and Yoga Practitioner, Christie Chapman will speak about the importance of mindfulness and will also present how we have incorporated Mindful Moments into our school day.

Junior Academy Fun Fair & Uniform Fitting – June 11
This year’s Junior Academy Fun Fair will take place on Tuesday, June 11th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
We are currently seeking silent auction items for the fun fair. We thank you in advance for your contributions and appreciate your support of this event. If you wish to donate an item to our silent auction, please contact Cathy Hibbert at chibbert@junioracademy.com .
Our uniform supplier, McCarthy’s, will be joining us to provide uniform fittings and ordering opportunities for all of our students. All orders can be shipped directly to your home this summer.
